News Microsoft offers to relocate nearly 10% of China-based staffers to the US or allied nations — AI and cloud engineering exodus from China begins

This is a whole bunch of BS. These Chinese employees are already working internally in Ai and cloud division having access to their IP and can easily 'steal' it so they don't have to be out of their country to do it. Second, even these Chinese employees leaves China to the west, these...

News Intel issues revenue warning after US revokes Huawei export licenses — further efforts to restrict China's access to AI chips

The export licenses doesn't hurt Huawei anymore. Huawei uses intel laptop chips to power its matebooks and it is not their bread and butter. Huawei used to use qualcomm soc's for their matepads, but they can easily replace it with kirin soc's.

News Chinese may be evading Nvidia GPU sanctions with Dell, Gigabyte, and Supermicro servers: Report

If anybody learn from Russia about sanctions is that they don't work. Russia can get western items from Coca Cola to iphones. For these commodity items , 3rd party brokers can simply buy them and ship it to places where it is illegal to sell. I'm pretty sure that there's some 3rd party...

News Loongson ships 10,000 CPUs in pilot test with 50 schools in China

Just have to go back to the Chromebooks example. Most of the Chromebooks are low powered low specs's pc's so even loongson's CPU's should'nt be an issue. and most apps are run in the cloud China just have to develop an ecosystem to run the software on the backend.

News New RISC-V microprocessor can run CPU, GPU, and NPU workloads simultaneously

News Qualcomm CEO says that the next version of Windows is due in mid 2024 - place your bets on Windows 11 24H2 or Windows 12

The problem is not the home users but business users. Most companies go from Windows 7 toi Windows 10 and not 11. IMO, Microsoft have to make tools on the backend that make it easier to move out from Windows 10.

News HP ad campaign claims its printers are ‘made to be less hated’ following years of anti-consumer behavior

These inkjet printers are total garbage, even tank based ones. If you don't print within a week, the heads would clog. I brought a Dell 1660w printer 10 years ago and it works fine on the occasional color printing but I use Brother MFP printer as the main printer.
