Your old RAM stick and the new RAM stick may not be able to work together. To get just the new RAM stick to work, you may need a BIOS update, and/or a Clear CMOS.

You can add one more NVME to the other slot and it will not slow down the first one.

Be more specific about your RAM. Is the 64gb from Crucial actually a 2 x 32gb matched kit? Is the Corsair Vengeance 16gb actually a matched kit of 2 x 8gb?

What program are you using to monitor temperatures? I believe HWiNFO (I'll check this evening) allows you to monitor MOFSET/VRM temperature, assuming your motherboard has a sensor for it.

When you say the GPU is plugged in, do you mean it is properly installed into the motherboard slot AND you have the required power cable(s) plugged into your GPU with the other ends of those cables plugged into your PSU?

I would think an i9-9900k has enough power to push out the frames necessary to run overwatch with your GPU quite well. What is the model of your MSI Z390 motherboard?

Does this happen only when you are gaming? Have you recently downloaded/installed a new driver for your 6800xt?

How old is your PSU? How old is your GPU? What is the make/model of your new AIO?

You might want to try doing a clear cmos and try again.

Googling tells me your cooler should have come with a small tube of MasterGelPro. Did you apply it the CPU prior to installing the heatsink?

If you bought it at MicroCenter, and your motheboard indeed needs an update, Microcenter will very likely do the update for you.

You need BIOS version 1004 or later. Was there any sticker on the box indicating BIOS version? Support page for your motherboard.

I had a 9600K and replaced it with the i9-9900K to run BF5 smoothly. The 6 core/thread just wasn't enough for the game. An i7-9700K (8 core/thread) probably would have been sufficient but I decided on the 9900K (8 core/16 thread). I am very happy with my decision.

What do you need the screwdriver for? You shouldn't use a screwdriver to push in wires.

That CPU, i3-12100 should be sufficient to run those games. Like others have suggested, it could be your single stick RAM. I'd buy a kit of 2 16 Gb sticks to REPLACE your existing 16 Gb stick.

Is this a new build? What exact CPU do you have? Stutters can be caused by the CPU not providing the frames that the GPU needs. RAM sticks that are purchased together in the same kit/shrink-wrap typically work well. Adding another stick does not always work out well with running dual channel...

How many NVME drives do you have? It's safest to have only one connected (the one you want to install Windows on) when you install Windows.
