My sister gave me a laptop Asus x540LA want to upgrade it to ssd and ram (only 4gb onboard).
Im not sure it is 1.5v or 1.35v ram cause i can't find voltage usage in cpuz or any other software but sure it at 1600mhz bus and 1 slot free.
Took me awhile on google mostly said i can add more ddr3l 8gb and ssd sata 3
I tried open it up (detach keyboard) realizing have to flip the mainboard to install ram and it really complicated so i bring it to repair shop but after a while they call me and say the laptop does not detect new ram, not im giving up and bring it to second repair shop, result is the same not detect new installed ram @@@
