Can sata 6gb/s hard drive work with sata 3gb/s port !

Hello friends,
Can I go to buy wd blue 1tb wd10ezex hard drive. It has sata 6gb/s but my motherboard is DH61WW it has sata 3gb/s port, can i run this hard drive !
I Also Want To Know That How Much Read And Write Speed I will get.

Yes you can, but the read/write will max out at 3 GB/S

What is the rest of your Hardware? The lower end Corsair PSU's(CS,CSM,CX,VS) don't use good caps, and are only good for light office use...

Yes SATA 6 Gb/s HDDs are backward compatible with SATA 3 Gb/s SATA ports.

The Western Digital WD Blue WD10EZEX doesn't even come close to saturating a SATA 3 Gb/s bus.
