Hello

I have a strange problem. There is a device in my Device Manager that I didn't know existed until today. My dad was on the computer when all sorts of programs stopped responding (Avast, Windows Explorer) and he restarted the computer. Now, he is not very good with computers, but before the computer booted up the screen turned black and Windows started checking the HDD for something. After it was done the computer restarted and there was a popup in the lower right screen indicating that a "driver failed to install correctly" and Nvidia GeForce Experience was gone for some reason. I came home that time and my initial thought was to run a Boot Scan with Avast to see if he would find something. After choosing that option and restarting nothing happened.

I opened up my Device Manager and found this:

Now I'm gonna list all the details of this "Device" in the Properties and I'm asking if someone can help me discover what it is exactly and is it a Device at all...

In device manager, right click your device, click properties, click details. In the details there is a properties section with a drop down arrow. Click the arrow and click "hardware id".
Copy the id data to notepad and then google the id data.
