Chrome OS installed on a Chromebook also allows you to create standard user accounts in addition to creating the administrators.

■From the desktop screen, click Menu (Gear icon) from the bottom-left corner.
■Hover the mouse over the Administration menu from the displayed list.
■Locate and click User Accounts from the submenu.
■Once the User Accounts window opens up, click Unlock from the top-right corner.
■On the opened AUTHENTICATE box, provide the correct password in the Password for root field.
■Click Authenticate to continue.
■When you are logged in, from the left pane, under the Other Accounts section, click to select User.
■Click the Plus (+) sign from the bottom-left corner.
■On the Create new account box, click to select Standard from the Account Type drop-down list.
■Type the name of the person in the Full name field for whom you wish to create the account.
■Click the Username drop-down list and pick the most suitable user name for the account.
■Once done, click Create to create the standard user account.
