Create an iTunes Store Account

Before you can start your digital collection of music, TV shows, movies, games, podcasts, and apps on iTunes, you'll need to create an iTunes account.

Here is how:

■Turn on your iPhone by pressing the Sleep/Wake button.
■Swipe your finger to the right on the screen (screen saying slide to unlock) to unlock the device.



■On the home screen, tap Settings.



■Once the Settings interface comes up, tap the iTunes & App Store option.



■On the next window, tap your Apple ID from the top.



■On the opened box, tap Sign Out.



■Once you are signed out from your Apple ID, tap the Create New Apple ID link.



■On the Account window, under the COUNTRY OR REGION section, tap to check the country of your residence.



■Tap Next from the bottom-right corner to proceed to the next window.



■From the New Account interface, tap Agree from the bottom-right corner to agree with and accept the terms and conditions of iTunes Store.



■When prompted, tap Agree on the displayed box.



■Under the APPLE ID AND PASSWORD section, type your new ID in the EMAIL field. (This will be your new iTunes ID.)
■In the Password field, type a new password and retype the same password in the Verify field to confirm.
■Populate the other fields with the appropriate values. Optionally you can also provide a rescue email address under the OPTIONAL RESCUE EMAIL section.
Note: You must populate the mandatory fields to proceed to the next step.
■Tap Next to continue.



■Once this is done, under the PAYMENT METHOD section, tap to check the desired card that you may use for the payments.
■Under the BILLING INFORMATION section, populate the fields with the correct information.
■Tap the Next button from the bottom-right corner.



■On the Verify window, tap Done to exit.
■Check your email inbox for the verification code that you have received from Apple.
■Click the Verify Now link available within the mail to activate your account.



■On the next window, provide your new iTunes ID and Password (the one you created in step 12), and click Verify Address.



■Once your iTunes account is verified, you can sign-in to the iTunes Store using your new iTunes ID.
