So ive seen around the internet that some people are having issues with their graphics cards clock getting stuck at a certain speed ,
Example :
Card default clock is 1070Mhz but only uses 970Mhz instead of the whole juice.
And i have solution Thanks to a Redditor named jonassdp, (I do not know if he is the original creator of the solution.)
The Solution:
So here is how to fix Your clock issue.
Whats causing your card to stay at Lower speed its caused by your web browser being open on a page of either youtube or facebook video. or An other website that has some flash player built in to it.
So make sure to have your web Browsers closed.
Here you can see i have attached my Afterburner log history so we can examine the card issue
You can download it
[URL removed]
So once you Open the file you will see 2 logs, open the second one (the first one is nothing)
In the second log history you will see that the core clock
is running at 1120MHz and the memory clock at 1700MHz
Now if You look closer Somewhere in the middle is where i launched chrome
and had facebook, youtube, reddit and google, open
and then Imediately the card downclocked itself at 970MHz and 1600MHz
So in conclusion : Web browsers affect gpu performance for some reason...
If this doesnt work for you then i would suggest
An other solution :
Download msi afterburner and disable amd powerPlay
open up the settings and look for option : Disable ULPS,
Make sure you tick the box and hit ok.
You will be asked to reboot your system and you will have to agree with that otherwise it wont work.
