And to get that supply drop, a player has to do a lot of struggle as he is faced with 99 (or less) other players who will be trying to get to that supply drop. So to increase your chances of getting that supply drop, follow the below given tips:
Keep Your Ears Up:
You must be thinking, what is the connection of your ears with the supply drop, right? Well there is! If you want to be aware of the supply drop as soon as it spawns, you need to make sure it you have good hearing and your sound it on. This is because as soon as a supply drop spawns, a beeping sound is made that is followed by a plane like sound. This will let you know that a supply drop is spawned and you can look for it in the sky.
Note the Position on Compass:
Once you are aware of the supply drop, you may need to run for it or towards the area where it is going to land. But, mostly because of hills or trees, players seem to miss the landing supply drop and they also forget its position. A quick fix for this problem is that whenever you see a supply drop landing from the sky, look exactly at its direction and then note the degrees in the compass at the top of your screen. Now even if you miss the supply drop, you can just follow that exact degree that you noted and you will soon see the smoke of the supply drop.
Build Around the Smoke:
Once you reach the area where the smoke is coming from, that means that the supply drop is going to land there. So now what you need to do is to go to that smoke if no one else has arrived before and then start building there. You need to build a fort around that smoke to defend that area and make sure no one but only you can get the supply drop. So when the supply drop will land inside your fort, you can easily get its contents.
Avoid Crowded Area:
One thing that you need to keep in mind is that you should avoid the areas that are crowded. Meaning, that you will not be the only one going towards the position of the supply drop. There will be other players as well. So if you see the area being a bit crowded or even one player present there, don’t go to the supply box directly. Instead, wait for a bit to let the other player go there and as soon as he reaches there, start shooting at him and take him down. Now wait and see if anyone else is going towards the supply drop. If no one comes out, go ahead and take the loot.
