How Can I Correct MEMORY_MANAGEMENT Error Messages in Windows 8?

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error messages are displayed in Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). Bug Check Code (BCCode) of MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error messages is 0x0000001a, and the messages are displayed due to improper memory management, or incorrect logical structure of the hard disk drive (bad clusters/blocks) on which Windows 8 is installed.

Just like other Blue Screen of Death error messages, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error can also be resolved just by a simple restart. In case this method fails, many times restarting the computer in safe mode and then starting it back in normal mode can resolve the issue.

If the above two methods fail, administrators are then recommended to follow some advanced options that would surely rectify the error messages permanently, provided the issue is not due to faulty hardware.

Considering that all the above discussed methods are related to the operating system or incorrect memory management, there might be chances that users still see MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error messages even after following the given methods. If this is the case, physical memory (RAM) might be faulty and needs to be replaced. However, before replacing the physical memory with the new one, administrators should always try reinstalling the operating system from scratch to check if the issue can be resolved easily.
