With various options that the Snipping Tool has, you can capture the entire screen with the help of Full-Screen Snip, any active dialog box or window of any wizard using the Window Snip, any particular area of the screen in rectangular shape using the Rectangular Snip, or you can also cover any random shaped area of the computer screen that you want to capture by using the Free-Form Snip.

Although the Snipping Tool is integrated with Windows 8/Windows 8.1 and is ready to use, sometimes it might be challenging for the new users to locate the program due to the operating system’s new interface.
