Apart from bringing up apps, refining your computing experience, shutting down, rebooting and hibernating your Windows 10 system, you can use her to boot up to a system of your choosing. This tutorial will show you how to go about doing so.
N.B: You will need the Wake on LAN feature to be present on your NIC in order for VoiceWake App to work.
You've successfully managed to set instructions for Cortana to power up your system with voice command.
- ■With the PC you'd like to initiate the command powered up, open "Stat Menu" by clicking the "Start Button" in the lower left corner of the screen or tap the "Windows" key on your keyboard
in the Start Search Field type "settings"

■Click on "Network and Internet".
■On the left pane, click on "Change adapter options".
■In the new window, right click on your connected Ethernet port and click on "Properties".
■In the new window, click on "Configure"
and then on the "Advanced" tab.

■After the app is installed, open it and press the + icon.
■Input the desired name which is the name you're giving the system as Cortana tries to access it via voice or text.
■In step 8, use the IPv4 and MAC address information in the app's respective fields. You can leave the Subnet mask without any information though the usual answer is 255.255.255.0 but make sure to leave the port number field as is.
■Tap the save icon at the end of the screen.
■Make sure your PC is connected to your local network while your smartphone is connected via WiFi. Save all your work on your Windows 10 system(laptop/desktop) and shut down the system.
■On your smartphone, with the VoiceWake app open wait a few minutes for a data packet to be sent from your phone to your system to wake it up from stasis.
■Shut down your system again but this time issue the command Cortana Wake [desired computer/system name]. In our case it'd be Cortana Wake Elmo.
