There is a quest to find a kid that has been trapped in a fridge for a very long time, and here's how you find it to start the quest and finish it.
Step 1) Find Billy.
Head over to University Point and start heading south. You'll find a ruined house not far from here and you'll hear someone calling for help around here. Follow the voice and you should find a fridge near the house. A few shots to the door handle should pop this open and Billy the ghoul will come tumbling out. Turns out he hid in the fridge during the Great War and has been trapped in there ever since! That's 200 years of being stuck in a fridge. I can only imagine what that thing must smell like by now. He'll also let you know that he is hoping to find his parents and return home to Quincy.
Step 2) Escort him, or sell him.
Here you have two options, you can either escort him to help him find his parents, or you can sell him to a Gunner named Bullet who will approach you.His house isn't far away, but it is on the other side of the Gunner infested Quincy, so it can be a hard push to get through. You can always go around if you are having trouble though. Or if you are looking for the easy out, you can always sell the kid to Bullet and be done with the whole quest. If you choose to sell him you can persuade him into paying you as much as 350 caps.
Step 3) Protect the family.
If you choose to bring him home, you'll find his parents are also ghouls and still alive and living there, how convenient! A nice happy family reunion. Other than the unwanted guests. Bullet has come back and he's brought friends with him, so you'll have to protect the family from the Gunner now. Head outside and talk to Billy, if you have a high charisma, it's possible you can convince him that the house is actually empty and he will go on his merry way, but this is a hard speech check. More than likely, you'll have to fight them all.
Step 4) Collect your reward.
Once they are eliminated, either by guile or by force, head back inside and talk to the father for your reward of 250 caps.
Congratulations on either successfully reuniting a nice old family of ghouls, or sold a kid into slavery just to line your pockets just a little more, whichever you choose!
