How to install 3rd party headphones the Oculus Rift

If you want to use different brand headphones from your headset than you will need to adjust few settings so the process can go smoothly. IT’s simple and it will not take you a lot of time. These are the following steps that will guide you how to successfully install the 3rd party headphones for you Oculus Rift.

Step 1. You will need to adjust the audio output settings. Go to Oculus Home on your PC, then select > dropdown menu

Step 2. Go to Settings

Step 3. On the left side you will read Devices section < select it.

Step 4. Select the Rift headset

Step 5. Open the Audio Output settings

Step 6. Select Windows Default in the dropdown menu
