Windows Ink made its appearance with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. Designed for creatives who want to be able to write, draw and annotate with a special stylus live on a touchscreen. It’s also a neat trick for those of us who like to play around with our tablets. If you want to install Windows Ink apps for Windows 10 and try it for yourself, here’s how.
Depending on your system, you may already see the Windows Ink icon in your taskbar. It looks like a little pen and sits within your notification icons. If you don’t see it, make sure you have a stylus installed on your machine and check what notification icons you have set to appear in the Settings menu.

Once you can access the Windows Ink Workspace, you can then quickly search Windows Store for more apps.
1. Tap the Windows Ink icon on your taskbar.
2. Click the ‘Get more pen apps’ text link in the right pane just above your system clock.
3. You should now see the Windows Ink Collection within Windows Store.
4. Select an app you want to try and install it the same way you would a normal app.
At the time of writing, there were only six apps available, FluidMath, DocuSign, Sketchable, Zen: coloring book for adults and Drawboard PDF. Microsoft says there are more apps on the way so keep an eye on the Windows Store.
