Found an alien willing to trade ships with you, but he wants a couple million units to do it? So how can you make that kind of money quickly in No Man's Sky? Here's a few tricks to help.
Step 1)Upgrade your exosuit's storage space.
In order to make a lot of units, you're going to need to carry a lot of supplies to sell. The more you can carry, the longer you can keep mining for things to sell, and make more when you do go find a terminal to sell to. The most common place to find these suit upgrades would be in drop pods, which you can find on any planet. If you are having trouble finding these, check for beacons you can unlock with bypass chips and have them search for shelters, as drop pods count towards this, and will make them show up on your HUD so you can find them easier.
Step 2)Mine as many resources as you can carry.
Head out and find as many resources to mine as you possibly can. If you can find some rare resources, ideally gold, then great! We're really looking more for quantity than quality though. fill up your inventory with everything you can, and hopefully full stacks.
Step 3)Head to a trade terminal to sell.
Head back to the closest trade terminal and unload all of your resources you can spare. It all depends on how many stacks of what resources you wind up with, but you should make quite a bit doing this, and you can always head back out and keep repeating this until your inventory is full and you can do it again.
Keep mining, it might take a few hours, but you will have a couple million units in just a few hours doing this.
