Hanzo is a sniper who doesn't need a gun, but uses a bow and arrow instead. He's got a few trick shots up his sleeve as well, but ultimately he's pretty easy to get the hang of playing as his skills are pretty straightforward, here's the overview on his skills and what they can do for you.

Passive-Wall Climb
Like Genji, Hanzo can jump at a wall in order to climb it to reach high up ledges. This can be very useful for getting up high into a good sniper position where you can rain arrows down on your enemies from on high.

Main Attack - Strom Bow
Hanzo's main attack is his bow and arrows. You'll have to pull the trigger to charge the shot for half a second before firing in order to do the maximum damage. A headshot with this can eliminate most non tank heroes in one shot, but keep in mind all shots will arch and fall off in range at longer range. If it's a really long shot, aim a bit above your target for maximum effect.

Sonic Arrow
This arrow will be fired just like any other basic arrow, but when it hits it will emit a sonic field in a burst around itself. Anyone caught in the field is going to show up in red for Hanzo and all of his allies for a short time, making it easy to track and eliminate them. This arrow, if it hits a target, will do the same damage as a normal shot as well, so while it's usually used as a scouting method, it can get you kills as well.

Scatter Arrow
This shot is best used in an enclosed area, once it hits something it's going to break off into six other bouncing arrows. The initial shot will deal the same damage as a normal shot if it hits, and each ricocheting arrow will do slightly less, but can hit multiple targets all at once or even take tanks out if they are in a tight corridor and you're lucky with the bounce.

Ultimate - Dragon Shot
Hanzo's ultimate shot is to fire twin dragons that will spiral through the map in a straight line and damage anything in their path. They will phase through walls and travel very long distances through the entire map. The closer the target is to being in the middle of the dragons, the more damage they are dealt, and it will continue to do damage the longer they stay within the dragons until they are dead. This ability can single handedly wipe an enemy team if they are all coming at you from one direction.

When playing Hanzo, it is best to use the mobility of his wall run to get to unpredictable places to snipe down the enemy team. You can use his scatter shot to confuse them as to where you are firing from, and your shots are silent and deadly. Using stealth to your advantage is key with Hanzo, as he doesn't have quite the same amount of range as Widowmaker as a sniper, due to the arching nature of his shots.
