Lewis is the Mayor in Stardew Valley and takes care of the town’s running and the people in it. He is also the person who picks up your produce and sells it in the night so he is someone that you want to be friends with. Luckily for you he loves receiving gifts just like most people in Stardew Valley. You can give him a bunch of gifts to raise your friendship with him and that will earn you some sweet benefits. He also gives you some quests, and if you manage to complete them he will give you gold and some friendship points but since there is a definite age gap between you and Lewis, you cannot marry him.
Lewis’ Schedule:
Mayor Lewis’ schedule is a little complicated as he is the mayor and has to spread his time evenly among all the residents of Stardew Valley but he is always either in the town or by Marnie’s Ranch so it not that difficult to find him. In fact you will find yourself running into him at all times of the day. You can see him by the Blacksmith, next to the Museum and even in Pierre’s shop. His schedule is so complicated that to describe it accurately would take a thousand words as he moves from place to place in the town and his schedule changes based on the season but it is safe to say that you will be able to find him in the town most of the time.

Lewis is not very picky when it comes to gifts, in fact there are a lot of things that you can give him that he loves. He loves vegetable Medley, Autumn’s Bounty, Hot Pepper, Glazed Yams and all Universal Loves.
He is also fond of all the Universal Likes as well as Coconut, Blueberry and Cactus Fruit. Whatever you do don’t give him Quartz, Holly, Wild Horseradish or Salmonberry as he does not like any of those items. He also does not like any Universal Hates or Dislikes.

One of the biggest benefits that you can get from your friendship with Lewis is that he will send you gold from the Stardew Valley Agricultural Funds. The more hearts you have with him, the more of a chance you have to receive money from him. At three hearts he gives you a recipe for Spaghetti and at seven he will send you one for Eggplant Parmesan.
At six hearts however a special cutscene happens. In the cutscene you witness Lewis and Marnie talking about their relationship and how it could end badly if they ever went public.
You have a choice to keep their secret and if you do you get bonus friendship points. To view this cutscene however, you need to have six hearts with Marnie as well.
