Hi all, Looking for some input. Recently purchased the 1080TI, I noticed when at idle and doing nothing gpu intensive like surfing, or just waking the PC from sleep mode it sits above 50 degrees. Little concerned, is this normal. From reading the forums most seem to be in the 30s at idle...

So I installed Windows 8 trial and everything is working perfect. No screen tearing in any apps or games :) Guess I gotta break down and but this OS

sorry for the delay, so I checked my Macbook connected via display port. There is no screen tearing at all. I'm going to try a different connection and possibly Windows 8. Yeah the system is fast, I'm happy with the performance minus the display issues :)

same issue, I just noticed something the screen tearing is in the same place all the time. About 5-6 inches down from the top of the monitor right across the screen. Could it be a screen issue?

windows 7 64, that was my next thing to try. See if windows 8 would make a difference.

Hi all, Looking to finish off my new PC build and I need a good monitor, I want an all purpose monitor, I do work with photoshop a fair bit so an IPS monitor is preferred. Dell has the 2713 on sale for 600, regular 850, just wondering should i pull the trigger. Cheers.
