Recently, I bought a tp-link router model number TL-WR841N to replace my other router. However, it will not communicate with my modem. The modem is definitely functional, as I can gain internet access when directly connected to it. I have tried every solution listed on tp-link's troubleshooting...

I replaced my router that was supplied by Charter because it was really going downhill. However I noticed that the router had a coaxial cable plugged into it but no Ethernet cord to plug into the WAN connection from the modem. I didn't think much of it so i unplugged everything from the router...

Apparently the problem was a faulty stick of RAM.

I didn't switch it completely due to no display, but it did work a few times on the graphics card VGA, but it stopped working before I could do anything

A while back the display on my monitor stopped working, so I looked it up online and found that my psu, graphics card, or motherboard was the problem. I replaced my psu with a corsair cx500 and just recently replaced my integrated graphics card with a radeon Hd 6670. Both are installed correctly...
