Ok I see. If this was the case, the the boot loop should have happened with the 3700x in too. I believe it may just be a faulty 5700x3d

I am using the Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE as my cooler for the 5700x3d. When I use my 3700x, my pc runs completely fine (like right now). But the 5700x3d causes the boot loop. What is a stray stand off?

Yea, I updated to the latest non-beta version to avoid the beta. But do you really think the issue is a temp issue considering temps were fine the first and only time I was able to boot with the 5700x3d?

Yes I did. I was on 2 compatible versions. One was old, and the other one was the latest beta version. I updated BIOS to the latest non-beta version recently and will try with a new 5700x3d to see if the issue still happens.

So when I first installed the 5700x3d, my pc booted and worked fine. I stress tested the PC and ran games while monitoring temps. The temps were good, nothing out of the ordinary. For CSM boot mode, I had already tried that, and it didn't fix my issue. As for the extra charge, I will try that...

I do not. I only have the 3700x which is my old cpu, and everything works fine with that.

As for the ram, I did try resetting cmos which disabled xmp with the new cpu in and it didn't fix my issue. Also, for the heat, I had bought a new cpu cooler Thermalright Assassin King 120 SE because I heard that the stock amd cooler would not be the best for the 5700x3d. Besides the cpu...
