    well i am using a pretty oldish power supply from maybe 5 years ago (purchase date). so i am only using the 2x4 atx power (ther is only one more 1x4 which i reckon isnt needed since its only a i5 13400)

    No idea the manual is pretty vague but its always been A1 and B1 for 2 pieces of ram in other boards. I haven't used gigabyte since setting up work office pcs. oh you right recommends A2 B2 for some reason.

    so vaguely looking at logs (well the 4 sub folders that i know), i saw alot of I/o errors and storport errors (with no other storage devices other then the main hdd) so i am resetting eventviewer again to see if something else comes up.aswell as enabling a few logs
