    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

To be honest, I kind of forgot about this thread. Sorry about that. For those looking at this issue in the future, using MSI_util_v3 to change my Nvidia graphics card to MSI mode seems to have stopped the crashes. Here's a link to the forum thread that informed me, that has download links to...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

I think I may have found something. In my device manager, I noticed that when I looked at resources by type > IRQ, that my Nvidia driver, HDAudioBus (which caused the most recent crash apparently), and the Intel Dynamic Tuning Processor Participant are all on the same IRQ slot, and from my...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

Hello again. After about two weeks, again, I got a crash in a game. I was playing South Park: The Stick of Truth, and when I went into the Steam overlay (not for the first time in the session), I got another crash. Here's the minidump...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

I'm sorry to hear that. Come to think of it, I've never really had a problem with the microphone slot on top of my tower not working, so we may have slightly different issues. I haven't had a crash yet, but if I do, I'll do a clean install of Windows. After that if there's still issue, that's...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

I see. I'm not sure if it makes any difference or not, but I'll also refrain from installing it then. Thank you!

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

Thank you for the response! I'll give that a try. Just so I'm clear, in addition to the update from yesterday, have you also installed the Windows 21H1 feature update?

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

No worries, hope you stay safe! If the complete dump is too big, there was also a minidump file, which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZO5aO3Z1aXnfgbby5rDXBW4GaYJtN810/view?usp=sharing

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

I realized that the memory dump was probably so large because I changed it to do a full memory dump, as instructed. I had to use 7zip to put it on Google Drive since the regular zip wasn't working, so I hope that's alright. Maybe this will help better...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

Hi, it's been a while...I did a clean install of my Nvidia graphics driver and the crashes stopped for a couple weeks, so I thought I was all good. Unfortunately, I just got a crash playing Terraria. The MEMORY.DMP is nearly 16GB, which sounds odd since I was only running Terraria and maybe a...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

Started getting crashes quick again. I posted on the tenforums, but they want a complete dump file which I can't provide until it crashes again (after switching from minidumps). So on that front, I'm just waiting for another crash, which is a little annoying since I dislike using my PC for work...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

Yep, Intel says that everything is up-to-date. Every time we look into something, I feel like it comes right back around to the motherboard. I think the only real answer here is a new motherboard. I haven't had any more crashes (even when I streamed the game that gave me the crash on Discord)...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

Yes unfortunately, I only use a lined ethernet connection (which uses the Realtek PCIe Family Controller) because it's so much faster and reliable. Intel(R) is my Wi-Fi, but I never use it. I actually went ahead and disabled it after the crash. I thought I had disabled it when I first got it...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

I'm glad to hear that worked out for you! I didn't get any crashes when I rebooted and started up again, and after I was done I took a look at Event Viewer and noticed that instead of the errors I was getting last time, this time I was getting errors for Netwtw10, starting after a NDIS error...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

Hello again. I didn't have any crashes for a while, doing all kinds of tasks, but I finally got one tonight when hosting a 7 Days to Die game with a friend. It wasn't like the ones in the past though: no "BRBRBR" noise and though it did restart on its own after a minute or too, I never saw the...

    Question ACPI-related DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION BSODs?

I followed in the instructions in the link to install CAB files (extracting to a folder then searching that folder in Device Manager in admin mode), but this is what it gave me: It seems like the latest drivers are installed, as far as Windows is concerned. I still haven't had any crashes...
