Just an update for people experiencing a similar issue, I tried Calc as well which didn't allow me to insert pictures inside cells so they follow the cells when sorted, Sheets did actually allow that but doesn't have intractable inside-cell charts that would have any effect on the sorting...

See the issue I found is I wanted to have a bar chart for each data point that you could interact with by sorting so this sheets charts function only gives me one of the three things I needed. Thanks though.

Actually I did try Google sheets, I was unable to figure out how to add horizontal bar charts as data points I couldn't find a tutorial, I assumed Excel and Calc would be the same but I realise they're more popular options with more support. I try your suggestions and see what happens, thank you.
