    Thanks for all the help. I feel so dumb right now. The monitor cannot auto detect which port is plugged in. By default it looks for displayport (not mini displayport where I was plugging in). I needed to manually go to monitor settings and change to mini displayport. My buid was working properly...

    After the build is complete, when I turn it on, the mobo lights up and the fans start spinning. However, I don't get any beeps and the monitor says no display port (the monitor came only with mini displayport to displayport cable, so I'm trying to hook up the displayport end with the mobo...
