Thanks for all of the replies guys. The idea was to see if I could fit a 290x in because of the price vs the 970. In the end I'll probably just cough up the extra cash for the 970 as it is a superior card, I was just trying to see if money savings could come into play.

Usually you have a driver for USB 3.0. Make sure you have the right one installed.

Don't buy a "gaming" keyboard if it isn't mechanical. Complete waste of money. Get a good mouse and mousepad somewhere around 50-70 bucks. That is what actually matters. Steelseries Sensei is very good, I would also recommend any Corsair mouse.
