    ASUS PCE-AC88 wireless adapter issues

I can answer my own thread :-) I had the network adapter in a pcie x 1.0 slot and it wasn't working so I read that the slots are disabled when you use a graphics on pcie x 16 so I moved it to my very last pcie slot which is a longer slots that would fit a graphics card even though the adapter is...

    ASUS PCE-AC88 wireless adapter issues

Hi everyone I've recently built my first pc, I started with a htpc case and msi 170m micro atx board. I had a need for more fans but no room to expand so I bought a new case and upgraded to a msi z170a xpower titanium motherboard and corsair 750d case, needless to say much better for cooling...

    MSI Z170M mortar DDR4 3200mhz

I figured it out, actually the issue was having game boost enabled. Game boost increases the CPU to 4.4ghz. So i turned that off and turned on XMP, that allowed the DRAM frequency option to be changed. So now my memory is running correctly at 3200mhz. I just went in to overclocking for now...

Hey guys thanks for the replies, I also cleared the CMOS already today too, it still didn't work it won't go over 2400mhz. I did try using one of the hinix profiles but the boot failed so I had to revert back to my other settings.

    MSI Z170M mortar DDR4 3200mhz

Hey guys I just finished my first pc build and I'm trying to get the ddr4 ram to operate at 3200mhz. In the msi bios it seems like everything in OC is not available for tweaking even on expert mode. The Z170 M says it is capable of handling 3200mhz and it's recognizing that I do have two...

    home smart panel structure wiring

Yes exactly, I have the coax up there, so it would be coax to modem to router to ethernet to switch (in smart panel), correct?

    home smart panel structure wiring

It's a wi-fi router. The majority of my devices are connected through wi-fi. I have a work computer and 2 Xbox's to hook up through wire connections. So the correct path is to go into the router which is in my office and then from router to the ethernet port which will connect to the smart...

    home smart panel structure wiring

Hi everyone, I have a home smart panel that I am trying to set up and organize. I live in a newly constructed home and they have wired Cat 5e and Cat6 to each room as well as coax for cable hook, however, they left me with a mess of wires in the smart panel. I had Direct Tv tone out all the...

Home wireless networking problems (signal loss and random disconnects)

So I am looking at this, Since I have a range extender, I have both my networks on the same channel 11, the other networks in my area are on lower channels, however, there is one network that seems weak but comes in and out on channel 11 also. It says that I am on channel 8-11 though, when I...

Home wireless networking problems (signal loss and random disconnects)

Thanks, I will go through and report the results I find. This may be the case as the time warner customer service reps changed my channel multiple times. I'm concerned about the settings because I believe in my modem settings I did find some settings that seems to affect things like voice over...

Hi everyone, so this issue has been going on for about the 2 months. My ISP is Time warner cable. I have had them for 4 years and never had this issue before, however, I moved into a new house 6 months ago. The internet was completely fine during the first 4 months. I had a Ubee modem with...
