Yeah, that is allot of money for that card. I was hoping it would be about $50 less than that since the 6990 is out.

I have no idea if it's a waste of money or not because I can't find pricing for it anywhere nor have I found it in any online retailers stores or in stores at all. Asus card has nice specs but it is triple slotted which doesn't work for me.

You could knock a few bucks off this by going with a cheaper cooler and also by going with a lesser mobo. Also, if you don't need an OS, thats $100 bucks there. You wont go wrong with the Asus x58 sabertooth mobo, it just costs about $25 more which is why i chose the MSI that I did. Was really...
