I ended up making a bootable flashdrive just like those steps. Although i do not remember having to type anything into the command line, the update started automatically? Any reason behind that?

Calvin, thanks for your reply. I will try to upgrade to f4 first. Then from there i can try and upgrade to f5? I also saw i can use @bios. Any input on using that instead?

Thank you for the replys! I have read that one pass of dban is enough to be safe from any info being recovered. If i run prng stream once, should i choose mersenne twister or issac? Which is better to use? Thanks!
