    GTA5 annoying mission fails

While GTA5 is kind of hit and miss with it's fun factor, a lot of the main story missions are actually very entertaining. I find some of them just have their down right annoying moments. Sometimes it's getting stuck on a piece of scenery when you're on a time limit. Sometimes it's the engine in...

Major GPU problems! I think...? Help!!

I've never seen that cooler mounted that way, is pushing air up out of the case?

is 500w enough for my Pc?

The power supply will work fine, I had a 600B which worked fine for me for a long time, not a single problem. That being said, it's true that it's not great and it's worth it to put a little more money into a nicer PSU. I can highly recommend the G2 series I have now which are actually very...

    Upgrade CPU first or GPU

I guess you all have had personal experiences with Aerocool? Because certainly wouldn't make a recommendation to someone just because it's not a reputable brand. Honestly the PSU might work just fine, and you'll be happier with performance increase upgrading the GPU first. Yes 500W is enough for...

I had a Toshiba Satellite once, the motherboard randomly died on me for no good reason. Haven't bought another one.

    Problem after a Overclock attempt

Sometimes overclocks can cause a GPU to thermal throttle, seems odd that would have an effect after resetting the clock. Make sure your overclocking software is not set to turn on when Windows starts, turn off your PC, reseat the GPU and start up again.

Is it worth making a whole new build?

What kind of games do you play? What kind of monitor do you have? Do you use your computer for anything else than gaming?

    new, no posting

That will happen if your bios reset jumper is missing. That's the only time it happened to me.

    Installing without integrated graphics

Most graphics cards are capable of running in plug and play mode, though often at a low resolution. Make sure you connect only one display.

no display after gpu and psu set up

Does your motherboard/cpu have onboard graphics? I know it sounds stupid but make sure you only have 1 display connected and that it works

Haswell core and cache (would like opinions)

Thanks for the reply, turns out 1:1 wasn't entirely stable so I dropped cache to 4.2 at 1.20v. I didn't feel like raising the voltage anymore just to keep it at 4.4 with the cores.

    New to i5 (Help)

My experience with that cpu (just did the same thing) is see how far you can push the multiplier without touching vcore. If you need to boost vcore start at about 1.2 or 1.225 and go from there. The chip ranges from 4.3 to 4.8 in comfortable voltages. I don't advice going above a vcore of 1.3

Haswell core and cache (would like opinions)

So with some very useful advice from people around these forums, I have been overclocking my new CPU and doing a lot of experimenting with the UEFI. Something I learned about tweaking an Asus Z97 board is that setting the "Additional turbo overclock" value while in adaptive mode in the UEFI is...
