Whenever I play heavy games like rdr2 and days gone i get lag spikes so bad but not all the time, after a while it gets fixed I have gtx 1660 HDD 8gb of ram and i5 4570 do i need to upgrade my RAM or is it some other thing?

I fixed that and now everything runs flawlessly

Ok sl i fed up the cloning process and now the old hdd wont even boot and i dont have a bootable win 10 usb

But how do i do that i havent formatted the HDD and cant do that from old hdd

I dont have other pc but i connected both the hdds onto the same pc and using same sata poweer cable it recognises the hdd in bios but not in disk management nor in the imaging software help. Also how do i install fresh os onto the new hdd?

games like dishonored, la noire, Tomb raider, skyrim dont lag as badly as newer games do newer games like cod ww2, re7, ac origins drop to under 10 fps. If my HDD was failing wouldnt every game lag? Also that blue screen wasnt a bsod it was master boot record menu in win 10 i did the chkdsk...

Also when sometimes games lag too much and crashes it crashes with an directx error message like device removed get device error.

so i did the chkdsk /r /f when i returned there was a blue screen which said windows didnt start correctly and gave me bunch of options but i selected exit and return to windows. the crystal disk info is still showing the same caution labels

what should i check for in the even viewer ? I downloaded crystaldiskinfo and it says caution which says [C5] Current pending sector count : 672, [C6] Uncorrectable Sector Count : 672
