Question HELP - bought a GTX 1660 super, display doesn't work, now GTX 960 (old card) also doesn't show display, same as when I plug HDMI into the motherboard

OKAY so I finally figured it out, it WAS the RAM stick that was loose, I didn't stick it back inside hard enough (thought I'd break it) but after hearing a final click, I started it up and works perfectly again. This is with my old GPU so hopefully the GTX 1660 super works fine in here as well...

Question HELP - bought a GTX 1660 super, display doesn't work, now GTX 960 (old card) also doesn't show display, same as when I plug HDMI into the motherboard

I have plugged in the PCI-E power cable to the GPU. it has the 6 pin connector but also the +2 pin connector but the gtx 960 only required the 6 pin, so I only plugged that in. I've tried unplugging the monitor from the wall/HDMI and holding down the power, yet still nothing That being said I...

Question HELP - bought a GTX 1660 super, display doesn't work, now GTX 960 (old card) also doesn't show display, same as when I plug HDMI into the motherboard

I reconnected my GTX 960 and turned the PC on, the fans on the old GPU will run for a couple seconds after turning it on, but then stop completely.

Question HELP - bought a GTX 1660 super, display doesn't work, now GTX 960 (old card) also doesn't show display, same as when I plug HDMI into the motherboard

I've tried both of what you and punkncat have told me to do (resetting the CMOS battery, restarting if greeted with another black screen) and i'm still getting no signal. Both of my gpu's are not connected and the HDMI is only connected to the motherboard yet still nothing. Is there ANYTHING...

Question HELP - bought a GTX 1660 super, display doesn't work, now GTX 960 (old card) also doesn't show display, same as when I plug HDMI into the motherboard

I didn't remove the 960 driver before installing the 1660. After looking it up that's what I assumed was the initial issue, however I wasn't able to receive any signal to my monitor with either the old 960 card that worked perfectly fine a couple hours ago, and the HDMI from directly the...

Question HELP - bought a GTX 1660 super, display doesn't work, now GTX 960 (old card) also doesn't show display, same as when I plug HDMI into the motherboard

He did not show it working... However I thought my old card would at least work on the PC? How do I go about resetting CMOS/BIOS? I've never done it before. I do not have another PC to plug the old 960 in... just the laptop that I'm typing on now :/

Hi guys, I tried installing the MSI Ventus OC GTX 1660 super that I bought off marketplace, when I took out my old GTX 960 and installed the new card and put the power cables in, the new card will turn on (fans, etc) but my display shows no signal. Okay, so I tried plugging in my HDMI to my...
