Hmm okay so I just ran a gimp5 stress test and on hwmonitor my cpu core temp was around 95-100 (!!!!!!) but it said my cputin was around 20-30. The second I stopped the test the cputin went back up to like 70-80 and then cpu core temp went back down to around 40. Seems legit.

I would go with an i7 x99, x99 mobo, 16 gb of ddr4 ram, water cooling and 2 gtx 980s, if i had that kinda money

Can someone please help? I just opened up my pc and removed a lot of dust from the inside but I doesn't seem to have done anything.. Also I haven't overclocked but I am running on asus optimal mode.
