Question Crash during BIOS update, unable to recover

Nope nothing on my displays whatsoever. I've even got one plugged into the motherboard HDMI just incase but nothing whatsoever, so I was inserting the USB in the hope that it would trigger a recovery :(

Question Crash during BIOS update, unable to recover

Hi all, today I was trying to upgrade from a 2600x to 5600x with my ROG B450-F Gaming motherboard. I had to update the BIOS to support the 5600x so I used Asus' EZ Update. The update started but the PC suddenly crashed and now it doesn't boot at all. I have downloaded the BIOS CAP file to a USB...

Is my CPU bottlenecking my GPU?

Hi all, I recently started playing Battlefield 1 again after some time and I was noticing I was having framerate drops and stutters which I don't usually get in any games (I run on ultra settings at 1080p). I opened task manager to find that BF1 itself is using 90-100% of my CPU continuously...

    Upgrade or Replace Old Laptop?

Hi, I have an old laptop laying around; it's 5/6 years old, has just 2GB of RAM, an AMD Sempron M100 and is very loud and gets very hot. I am currently using a Windows Homegroup to transfer files between my PC and laptop, but if I use Ubuntu or FreeNAS for the server, which...

    $700 build desktop for business.

I assume all work will be either spreadsheets and documents, and perhaps some internet browsing. If this is the case, first do not bother wasting money unnecessarily on a graphics card as the integrated graphics on the motherboard will be more than fine, and instead I would focus the money...

Fan power splitter causes persistent fluctuation of one fan

My motherboard (an ASUS P8H61-MX R2.0) has just one case fan power port. Quite some time ago I purchased a Corsair Air Series AF120-LED 120mm fan, and later purchased a second to mount at the front of my case to act as an intake, and therefore I needed a power splitter to power both. They work...

    [SOS] Quick question on compatibility

Yes. The GPU is a standard 16 pin PCIE and the motherboard has two 16 pin slots so you'll be fine. Good luck!

Is My CPU Bottle-necking my GPU?

I have an Intel i7 3770, and recently purchased a GTX 1070. Today I've been refining my overclock settings for my GPU and it got me wondering if either my GPUs default speeds or perhaps my overclock speeds are being bottle-necked by my CPU? Is this likely/possible?
