AMD Details 'Ambidextrous' Solution That Bridges x86, ARM

Somehow I don't see how this is supposed to work... What does "pin-compatible" mean? If its just being able to put either x86 or ARM processor into the mobo then its useless... If you can have both and switch between them then this may have some uses but its still quite useless... If those two...

Google Wants 10 Gigabit Internet Speeds: Fast Enough?

The problem is that even through offering super fast internet in large cities is cool and looks nice in statistics it inflates average internet speed in a bad way.I live in Poland. I have a 60Mbps connection and no monthly cap. You can get 60Mbps connection in large cities here at reasonable...

OneDrive Takes Page from Dropbox, Will Offer Bonus Storage

7GB ? That's not much. If they would offer 25GB that would be nice... 7GB is simply not enough. For synchronising folders between my computers I prefer to use BitTorrent Sync... Its way more secure and reliable as it doesn't depend on any company servers and only thing limiting storage size is...

Microsoft Extends Windows XP Anti-Malware Updates 1 Year

I think Microsoft extending anti-malware updates for XP made a really bad decision. It will give people a false sense of security. It will become another excuse to not to upgrade to newer OS. I understand there are many people who want to stay with XP as it gets things done and works fast on old...

AMD Mantle Now Adopted by Three More Game Developers

I think for now its best to wait till some games that support Mantle gets released to see some real life benchmarks and then maybe wait some more to see if there really will be more titles supporting it... If Mantle will give just like 5~10% performance boost and there will be just like 5...

Watch Dogs PC Game to Require 64-bit OS

Oh... So now quad-core with HT equals eight-core? Oh well... It will be interesting to see if there will really be no 32bit version but considering they list 4GB of RAM in "minimum" requirements it wouldn't be all that surprising. Those requirements seem a bit high but it might be a good...

Nvidia Removed a Linux Driver Feature Due to Windows

This seems like the dumbest thing ever... If it was possible to have 4 screens under linux then this must be a software limitation... I won't be surprised if someone will find a way to hack nvidia driver to support 4 screens for both windows and linux...

ViewSonic Intros $1000 Adobe Color QHD Display

What's the big deal? Just another overpriced display... Dell U2713H gives you 27" 2560 x 1440, 99% Adobe RGB with Delta E≤2 and 6ms response time... And its actually cheaper.

Prime Minister Announces Opt-in Porn Policy for UK

Another brilliant idea... Now people will complain that's its stupid they have to "opt in" to have their internet uncensored. Other people will complain that not all of the porn is being filtered and will want to sue their ISPs for it. Maybe some non-porn websites will get "accidentally"...

Have two "default" speakers in Win 7?

I guess my method can clone only 2 channels to the 2nd sound card. I have one 5.1 speaker set and one 2.0 set so I simply plugged 2.0 speakers into rear surround output from 7.1 sound card, but I guess there is no simple way to clone 5.1 output. There might be some app that could be able to pull...

Have two "default" speakers in Win 7?

You can clone audio output from one sound card to another by selecting its stereo mixer as default recording device, and then in its recording device properties, in "listen" tab selecting "listen to this device" and setting playback through the 2nd sound card.
