For your current setup buddy, really anything to bring it back to life would suffice in my personal opinion.
Upgrade to a newer system would be the way forward, off course, if you have the money to put in.
Unless you settle for a second hand one, on that socket I'd be surprised if you can find anything new on the shops mate. Perhaps it's time to consider an upgrade? And sell the existing parts? Just a thought. But a Google search shows that motherboard is socket LGA1155. Hope you get it sorted...
