Well, I finished downloading battlefield 3 but I had to underclock the CPU to 2.9 GHz. I tried downloading something else through origin and it approaches 60 and avast is on top (in task manager) using 10% of my CPU, around 20% of it is only being used total. Maybe I just have a shit cooler...

Since it's staying at 4.0 GHz instead of having to turboboost to that, you should a performance improvement. I think you will see much bigger improvements in more CPU intensive games, I think tomb raider, along with most other games, are more intensive on the graphics card anyway.
