[SOLVED] (Wireless) video conferencing / meeting room setup for small office?

Yeah, it seems there isn't much in terms of a "webcam miracast" protocol that allows my staff to connect to a full videoconference setup without plugging in. Share a screen for presenting - yes, get a feed from a video/microphone - seemingly not. While I prefer to avoid it, I wouldn't rule out...

[SOLVED] (Wireless) video conferencing / meeting room setup for small office?

Hmm, that's an interesting solution - thanks for the tip! A little pricey, but it seems to do everything. Only real downside is that it is its own computer, while I'd prefer the videoconferencing software (Teams, in our case) to run off of an employee laptop, so that no login is required.

[SOLVED] (Wireless) video conferencing / meeting room setup for small office?

I am setting up a small office for about ~10 people. Laptops and network are all OK, but I'm looking for inspiration for the meeting room IT setup. I want a screen in there so people can present material (locally, from their own laptops). Of course, these days, this room is frequently used for...

Mobo integrated graphics not working twice

Hello Samaratin. I have indeed - I've used both a new monitor with HDMI, and another, older monitor with a VGA input. Both monitors/cables work fine when driven from another computer, but neither show anything from the motherboard's graphics outputs. From my experience with the first board I...

Mobo integrated graphics not working twice

Hello! I have an ASRock H170M Pro4 motherboard as part of a new build, paired with a i3-6100 processor. I build this machine a few weeks ago, and whil eit generally worked OK with a discrete graphics card, I could never get the integrated graphics working. I tried many settings, resets, BIOS...

Motherboard stubbornly refusing to use onboard graphics

Hi everyone - thanks for the thoughts. Indeed - I very much doubt it has anything to do with the OS. Indeed, this problem persists when no bootable devices are attached! I agree that the mobo should always fall back to the iGPU. It seems to be a failure if it doesn't do so - if I hadn't got a...

Motherboard stubbornly refusing to use onboard graphics

Hi! I have a new build based on an ASRock H170M Pro4 mobo. Build went OK, as did the installation of Mint 18, which works great. I've got an AMD gpu in a PCIe slot driving the MDI monitor. But I want to remove that and use the iGPU. However, there is a problem whenever I do anything to enable...

New Build MSI Z170A Motherboard Linux OS Install Help

Hello! Can you provide a bit more information? You mention you're getting errors - what do they say? What stage of the Ubuntu install are you on? Have you already a working OS that is OK with the motherboard on the system already? Have you changed any BIOS settings from the defaults?

New Reliable M-ATX build - Will this CrossFire option work?

(Is this "Post an answer" the same as "post a forum post"?) Didn't know about that restriction on the dual-channel. Good call. I'll either go 4x4GB or 3x4GB and accept that the third stick will run slower (the first two can still run at double rate, right?) Will running those cards at 8x...

New Reliable M-ATX build - Will this CrossFire option work?

Hi guys! I haven't built a PC in about 8 years but I'm hoping it's as easy as I remember! Unfortunately, technology has moved on and I've a few problems when choosing parts already despite having only looked at GPU and Mobo. A little background: I am building a fairly powerful, but not extreme...
