I have had long run with it but yesterday I just booted it and it got hot within an hour. If I may ask, how do I change it. Opening the laptop feels risky, since I never opened them before.

Hey! I got a HP Pavilion dv6 laptop, which is about 4 years old. Lately, it has been overheating really easily. It just being on standby is making it hot. I have ran AV and Anti malware program, also updated drivers. I have a laptop cooling pad, which doesnt seem to help at all I will add more...
