[SOLVED] Is it time to replace my RAM?

Then observe the system for the same error/issue with only one stick at a time. It will help to rule out which one is causing the conflict. Most likely the Ramstick 2. And yes, purchase a higher capacity memory as replacement for the bad one...

[SOLVED] I'm upgrading my RAM. Should I wait?

The best is to purchase DDR4 memory. In a year or two, you can consider upgrading to an entirely new system, because the processor also needs to be upgraded for DDR5 memory.

    [SOLVED] RAM Compatibility

No. It is not guaranteed to run in dual channel mode, as I already stated the fact, it has to match the specs identically. The only way to get dual channel is to install the same Samsung stick M471A2K43DB1-CTD or replace with a new identical kit.

[SOLVED] i deleted the partition that had all my data

The more you overwrite(installation or any operations as saving a file), the blocks are replaced with newer data. So, if you are adding any more data to the same hard disk or partition precisely, you will end up recovering the newer data saved. Best is to not do anything to this hard disk. If...

    [SOLVED] Ram upgrade Asus X555BP

This laptop comes with a soldered memory and slot for RAM upgrade. The correct memory spec is 2133MHz, but is down-clocked to operate at 1866MHz. So buy a 2133MHz stick. 2400MHz may also work. In my opinion 2133MHz SODIMM is the best choice. You may want to force CPU-Z to 'Run as...

    [SOLVED] RAM Compatibility

For dual channel, you do need an identical set. It 'must' be identical in all specification. By adding a 'dual rank' stick along with the existing 16GB stick(regardless single or dual rank, likely to be dual rank), you will have 32GB, but not in dual channel mode necessarily, 'if' the sticks...
