I have (or i buy)
CPU: i5 6500
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170XP-SLI
RAM: KINGSTON DDR4 8GB
GPU: 2x GTX470 SLI
SSD: transcend ssd370s 250GB
HDD: old WD 250GB (7200rpm)
PSU: ?750W?
I wanted EVGA B2 750W, but is out of stock for at least 35days a I need something within a week and I don't know which...
I found MSI Z170 KRAIT GAMING few cents cheaper, but it's without usb 3.1, A version is more expensive (few cents) but I don't know if i want MSI :/ it's a tough choice.
I need a skylake motherboard with SLI, so it has to be Z170. But which one? I prefer as cheepest as possible, but I can pay few $ more if it's worth it.
I don't care about a brand (if it is buyable in our country).
I have 2x gefore 470 (gift, i know about heating and noise) but 6500 should be enough, I think.
And in a year, or two, I'll buy new graphinc card (probably next gen of gf960, or something like that).
So it's not worth it, but everyone buys K CPUs :)
Is there any significant difference in performance between 6600K and 6500(6600)?
I know about overclocking, but in my opinion these extra 2fps are not worth these extra $.
Yes 2gtx 470. I know about the heat and noise and I am OK with that...
In our country is i5 6500 avaiable from 14th Sept. in e-shops (15th stores).
Thanks for reply.
I have 2x gf470 (it's a gift) and i want to build PC. I definitely want new skylake (z170, 8gb DDR4) and I wonder if i5-6500 is enough? I prefer to not overclocking, but I can deal with this. And I want to wait at least a year before getting a new graphic card (save some money...).
