I have a rosewill arc 650w power supply and I want to use it to overclock my gtx 1070 and i5 6600k. What are the odds that this psu will kill my other parts and any other suggestions for a very good power supply in the 550-650w range?

So my mother board has 4 ram sticks 2x8 ( 2400 MHz ddr4) 2x4( 2133 MHz ddr4) My mother board is z170 mx and it says my ram total is 24 at 2133mhz

yes as long as a motherboard has a pci express x16, it will work with any modern gpus, but i wouldnt put a gtx 1080 in a cheap motherboard like that, a 1050 is fine

yeah i agree with the answer above, a gpu under 130 can play games on mid/low , while a 1060 can do 1080p ultra

normally when i change motherboards and gpus, i clear out the CMOS

I have a GTX 1070 ASUS ROG STRIX , and this card is a beast running all my games ultra 1080p, but all my friends suggest i overclock it , why would i do it when it works and runs all games 60 fps+. I know its free extra horse power but is it worth the running stability benchmarks for hours ?
