What MB? (Make and model) Does it still boot/work? (Maybe run some stress tests, eg: 3d mark)

So I have a new job now and I make good money. I am thinking that I will have a few extra hundred every month to put away towards a new box. So I am wondering if I should buy parts as I have the cash, or save it all until I have over $2000 and just get the best I can. Options are welcome
