Looks ok..save the money on the gt 710 though and get the ryzen 220g cpu has video on it. Get 16gb ram if you can and a small ssd. Much faster load times and less memory swap and faster video.
Your original sticks of ram were way to small for windows 10 or 8 so check speed not ram use. Sweet spot for ram is 32gb not 2 GB. That's the rub..it works with 2gig but should have more. Now the heat, how hot? Normal or boiling.
Wow, ok..jumping into this mess. In games laptops throttle alot if on batteries. Also in gaming cpu speed is everything as so little comes from threads. Now threads let you do more background information and yes a little boost to speed..a 4 core cpu in current year will smoke a 6 core cpu like...
Unless intel has gone bonkers since when I tested chips there. The chips will run as they said. One thing they do better is thermals. And 14+++ is now binning great. So have to assume follow on will be better.
