No problem, just wanted to try to diagnose the problem... the CMOS battery mainly comes into play when the computer is not connected to power which provides auxiliary power to store the current time and BIOS settings... if its off more than on, i'd imagine that it utilizes the CMOS battery more...

can you go through your windows event log and find any Errors that correspond roughly to the time of crash?

The RAM is physically closer to the compute unit (i.e. GPU) via GDDR in addition it is most likely to be binned at a higher speed and confirmed to be verified by the GPU manufactuturer
