I am planning to buy a GTX 980, however, I do not know whether it will work ok. The i5-3570k seems to work fine with the GTX 980 and since the FX 8320 brings the same performance. I don't think it would bottleneck. Can anyone confirm this for me?

It will not bottleneck. My friend has a FX-8320 at 4.0ghz with an R9 290X and it works like a charm.

Are you overclocked? If you are try to turn up the voltages or go to defaults.

If you are willing to overclock it and get a cooler, go with the 8350. If you don't want to deal with heat issues and just want to game, (No video editing) go with the i5.

AMD will actually be better since he is recording. Minecraft takes advantage of 2-4 of the cores while the recording software will take advantage of the others. AMD is better for livestreaming and such. I'd say go with the FX-8350. The xeons can barely be overclocked and will fall short if you...
