Yes you're right. I had actually faced same issue in my old laptop too. This marks keyboard issue, still to note that both the keys function normally. I am happy with the result.

Hello, I finally found a fix for the above issue when i was in search of permanent solution. I installed keytweak application and just disabled the Page Up and Page Down buttons. It works wonders. Thank you for all the support. Happy scrolling!😊

I am using laptop. There is no option to disable keyboard in settings.

I disabled it. The issue is still same with external mouse. May be its something to do with keyboard keys malfunction? Looks to me like hardware issue.

The keyboard keys are working properly when i checked each key with the notepad.

When i started typing in chrome browser, i found its automatically typing from search results that pop-up. This is weird issue related to touchpad only. Who can help me here?

I have disabled the ELAN Input device from device manager>mice and keyboard systems. Restarted the system. Issue still persists.

I didn't try by turning off the touchpad.
