I would go for something like a 380/380x, even amd don't recommend pairing 8350 with anything above those, but you could go 970/390 (new PSU needed)

I assume its sata, it wont attempt to boot from it as your current drive is primary, but lets say it does. Just plug it in after windows is loaded, then go to my computer, right click the drive and format.

You certainly don't need more ram 8gb is more than enough for that game, its just battlefield with lasers and lord helmet
