I have a i5 750 and I plan on getting a gtx 950 is the cpu too old or will it work well for the next few years of gaming ? or do i have to upgrade :) ? :( ?

First off I have an older set up that I just purchased and want to do some upgrades. I have a i5 750 and what looks to be an Antec three hundred two (or one ) case and a gigabyte P55 UD4P motherboard with old sea sonic 650 ps. I was wondering if a gigabyte gtx 950 gpu and corsair hydro series...

So if i tried to change everything except baseclock it would be stable I could leave all the other stuff that's shown in the video ? (sorry I'm a newb first PC ive had)

I was wondering if i followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy8D7bbxHXg which gets overclocked to 4 ghz but instead of having the BCLK at 200 I changed it to 170 would that achieve a 3.4 ghz overclock ? if not what would I have to change in order to have a stable 3.4 ?
