Had to change BIOS boot mode from UEFI to Legacy.Solved.

I am trying to install Windows 7 on a Sony Vaio SVE1512C6EW,but however i arange the boot priority and enable external boot device it always starts up from the HDD and loads Windows 8.

After doing a CMOS reset and reinstalling AMD Catalyst Windows now recognizes the GPU correctly.My only problem remaining is the back GPU fan not spinning.

I also tried installing it onto another GPU slot on the MOBO (second one, originally it was installed to first slot) and nothing changed. Now running with the second slot i can't even set resolution to the monitor's native resolution (2560x1440,i have Dell U2713HM) and Dell Display Manager won't...

After testing both sticks 3 times in memtest in slot b2 i seated both at the same time in a2 and b2 and it was finally working.Memtest,BIOS and Windows 7 recognized 4 GB Ram.

My PC will only post with one of my 2 Corsair Dominator 2 GB 1600 mhz sticks in slots A2 or B2 (both work when installed alone in these slots).I cannot use A1 because it's blocked off by my gigantic heatsink and B1 doesn't seem to be working with either sticks.What could be causing this?I...

I tried every combination of number of sticks/different ram slots and although it does change what led lights up it doesn't get the PC to boot.1 stick,A2=CPU led red,2 sticks A2 B1=DDRAM led red,2 sticks A2 B2=no errors,all leds blink once with red light (normal boot i think),boot sound(1 beep)...

After switching some more 8 pins around i finally got it to not show any red led lights but after the initial POST beep the monitor display still won't switch on and two very short beeps follow.
